Utrecht Tourism & Recreation (UTR) is an independent foundation with two nuclear roles:
* Drawing tourists and business visitors to the cities and regions in the Province of Utrecht 
   (through marketing & promotion).
* Proper reception and provision of information to these visitors (through the Tourist
   Information Offices and the RonDom visitor's centre).

UTR collaborates with its clients (Province of Utrecht and municipalities) and the tourist/recreational business community to realise this.
